Victoria Ford joined the Citizens League staff as a Program Associate
in the fall of 2004. Ford, a native of Minneapolis, came to the League
after returning to Minnesota following a stint in Washington, D.C.
In addition to her responsibilities as a member of the League's research
staff, Ford manages the Community Connections Calendar (www.localevent.net)
and is currently coordinating a top-to-bottom redesign of the Citizens
League website (www.citizensleague.net).
In D.C., Ford held a fellowship at the Center for Democracy and the
Third Sector at Georgetown University. Her research was on the relationships
between civic participation and democracy; sadly, her findings were
inconclusive. Previously, Ford worked honed her chops at the Urban
Institute's Justice Policy Center and the University of Minnesota School
of Public Health.
Ford has also worked extensively with neighborhood organizations,
through the Center for Urban and Regional Affairs at the University
of Minnesota.
Ford holds a Master of Public Policy from Georgetown University and
a Bachelor of Arts in Geography from the University of Minnesota.
